Sarah Collins: The Yukon: FPAC 2021 Green Dream Internship Program

Part of the reason I chose a STEM degree is because of the opportunities to work outdoors, instead of an office. My employer accommodated and encouraged me to take a summer field course in the Yukon for the hands-on wilderness experience it provided. Students experienced a 6-day backcountry guided canoe trip while learning about local communities and their interactions with industry.
