D’abord, j’aimerais prendre le temps de remercier l’APFC de me permettre de mettre en lumière mon expérience et mes perspectives du secteur forestier dans le cadre de son programme Stage de rêve.  

Comme mentionné au sein de ma biographie, je ne suis qu’une débutante dans le grand monde de la foresterie. Toutefois, j’en suis une grande passionnée. Cet été, grâce à Produits forestiers Résolu Côte-Nord qui m’ont offert un stage axé sur la certification forestière, j’ai eu la chance d’approfondir mes connaissances dans plusieurs sphères de la foresterie (en plus de découvrir la beauté des paysages sur la Côte-Nord).  

En tout juste quelques semaines, j’ai compris l’importance de bien comprendre la certification forestière afin d’être en mesure de mieux aménager le territoire. Lorsqu’un territoire est certifié, la certification forestière devient la base des activités forestières. Afin de respecter les normes établies, une bonne harmonisation du territoire est nécessaire. Pour s’y faire, il est crucial d’entretenir de saines relations avec les autres parties touchées; je pense, entre -autres, aux communautés autochtones qui occupent le territoire, aux parties locales qui utilisent le territoire à des fins autres que forestières et aux autres organisations présentes au sein du secteur forestier, comme le MFFP.

Grâce à ce stage très formateur, je débuterai ma troisième année au sein du baccalauréat en aménagement et environnement forestiers non -seulement avec une meilleure compréhension de la certification forestière, mais aussi avec une meilleure compréhension du fonctionnement de la foresterie au Québec et de ses enjeux.
