November 25, 2016 OTTAWA: The Forest Products Association of Canada (FPAC) intends to work closely with the federal government to ensure that our industry from coast to coast is vigorously defended in the wake of the U.S. trade action against Canadian softwood lumber.
Canadian softwood lumber exports to the United States benefit the economies of both countries and we want to see an outcome that provides fair access for Canadian producers and American consumers alike.
As we work with the federal government to defend our industry, this is a reminder of the importance of innovation to the future of Canada’s forest products sector and the need to diversify our export markets and products.
