Rosa Desy: Blog 1: FPAC 2022 Green Dream Internship Program

Salut! Je m'appelle Rosa et j'ai été sélectionné pour participer à "Stage de rêve" organisé par l'Association des producteurs forestiers du Canada. Dans les prochaines semaines, j'aurai la chance de montrer ce que j'ai pu faire cet été sur mes différents réseaux sociaux chez Produits forestiers Résolu à Senneterre, en Abitibi comme stagiaire en opérations de récolte.  

Aujourd'hui, je vous présente un peu mon parcours et ce qui m'a amené à participer à ce concours!

J'ai commencé à étudier en foresterie en 2018. J'ai fait ma technique au Cégep de Sainte-Foy et je suis rentrée à l'automne 2021 au baccalauréat en aménagement et environnement forestiers à l'Université Laval à la recherche de nouveaux défis et pour continuer de développer mes connaissances dans ce domaine passionnant.

Cet été, j'ai décidé de découvrir une facette de la foresterie dans laquelle je n'avais jamais travaillé: la planification et les opérations forestières. J'ai donc commencé à travailler en mai dernier chez Produits forestiers Résolu à Senneterre, en Abitibi. J'ai pu non seulement découvrir un important secteur de la foresterie qu'est la récolte de bois, mais aussi une toute nouvelle région pour moi.

Grâce à l'Association des producteurs forestiers du Canada, j'ai la chance de partager ma passion et mon expérience en forêt afin de promouvoir le vaste milieu de la foresterie et de la production de bois!
