For my first shared content as a Green Dream intern, I would like to introduce myself and briefly explain the kraft pulping process that takes place just outside my office.

By taking a closer look at the ingredients lists on the labels of the products we consume, it can be seen that kraft pulp plays a large role in the everyday lives of Canadians.

From researching companies across the country to accepting the offer, this is how I landed my co-op placement with Canfor Pulp, and why it was a good decision.

It was unusually hot in Nova Scotia for late April when I was packing for a flight to Alberta. Recently finishing my first year of Forestry school, I was eager to go experience work in a different province.

Each summer I have experienced different areas of the mill learning new skills and expanding my knowledge.

Visual impact assessments are used to determine if the visual quality objective target of an area will be met if the proposed harvested activities take place. Visual quality objectives (VQO) are assigned to areas based on how visually sensitive a landscape is.
