FPAC has helped build the reputation of the industry as the most progressive and green forest sector in the world. FPAC represents the Canadian industry at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and has a seat on the International Council for Forest and Paper Associations. FPAC collaborates with environmental groups, government bodies, Aboriginal governments, scientists and academics to deliver results.

FPAC has developed initiatives and partnerships to help member companies attract employees and leverage federal government programs to find HR solutions. TheGreenestWorkforce campaign and Green Dream Internship online viral contests are attracting workers to the industry.

REDUCING TRADE BARRIERS

FPAC takes a multifaceted approach to trade by developing strategies to secure and protect access to other markets, by encouraging government to eliminate tariff and non-tariff trade barriers, by pursuing free trade deals, and by addressing specific trade irritants.

LEVERAGING YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS WITH ABORIGINAL PEOPLES

FPAC provides a forum allowing members to share experiences and best practices. FPAC also offers two Aboriginal awards and has a partnership with the Canadian Council of Aboriginal Business.
